New York and Barcelona — 31 August 2021: Onna, the world’s first Knowledge Integration Platform on a mission to make enterprise information accessible, useful, and private, has announced the appointment of Darin Bartik as its new Vice President of Marketing. Darin will have overall responsibility for building market awareness and driving demand for Onna. Darin will define the marketing strategy and lead, operationalize and scale the global marketing team, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Partnerships, and Communications. He will join the executive team and report into Onna’s Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Griswold.
Darin comes to Onna with more than 22 years of global marketing and senior leadership experience. He has proven success with go-to-market strategies that develop new markets, drive customer adoption, and create a platform for long-term value creation. In his roles with Aelita Software, Quest Software, Dell, BMC Software, and WSO2, Darin worked with a broad range of technologies, notably data integration, database management, security, analytics and cloud applications.
“We are delighted to have such a seasoned marketing professional join us to lead our global marketing team and, with Darin’s appointment, we are adding a huge amount of experience and expertise into the business,” commented Kelly Griswold, COO of Onna. “We were looking for someone of Darin’s calibre to help us realize the enormous potential that Onna has to become synonymous with knowledge integration and to help organizations turn disparate and fragmented information into knowledge.”
“It’s an honor to become an Onner and to lead the marketing team for the business,” said Darin Bartik, VP of Marketing at Onna. “I passionately believe in our vision to enable people’s lives through their own information and I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to work with this group of such talented people to demonstrate the value of integrated knowledge for organizations.”
Onna integrates knowledge from all workplace applications, allowing anyone to unify, protect, search, automate, and build on top of their organization’s proprietary knowledge. With the rise of cloud-based and hosted workplace apps, knowledge is extremely fragmented and difficult to access in most organizations, costing businesses huge amounts of time and money in searching for their own information. Onna’s Machine Learning-based Knowledge Integration Platform can be connected to any cloud or on-premise application, including GSuite, Office 365, Slack, Dropbox, Salesforce, and many more. It supports eDiscovery, information governance, knowledge management, archiving, monitoring for private and sensitive data sharing, and building bespoke internal workflow apps using proprietary information.
With headquarters in New York City and Barcelona and teams in Raleigh, San Francisco, Toulouse, and London, Onna supports some of the world’s leading companies, including Carvana, Dropbox, Electronic Arts, Fitbit, Lyft, NewsCorp, and Slack. Onna has raised $43M from investors, including Atomico, Dawn Capital, Dropbox, and Slack Fund. To learn more, visit www.onna.com.
