Onna Boosts Product Organization with the Appointments of New Chief Product Officer and VP of Product Platform

New York and Barcelona — 1 December, 2021: Onna, the world’s first Knowledge Integration Platform, today announced the appointments of Jose Lazares as Chief Product Officer and Andy Mallinger as Vice President of Product Platform. Jose will be responsible for leading product strategy and management, and accelerating the delivery of Onna’s Knowledge Integration Platform and enterprise solutions. He will join the executive team and report to CEO, Salim Elkhou. Andy will be responsible for expanding Onna’s Knowledge Integration Platform core services, connector ecosystem and developer capabilities, and will report into Onna’s new Chief Product Officer, also joining the executive team.

Jose Lazares comes to Onna with more than 20 years of experience in building, delivering, and selling transformational software and technology platforms. Prior to joining Onna, he served as the Senior Vice President of Product Management and Innovation at Intapp, where he developed and led the company’s Industry cloud product and platform strategy targeting professional services industries including legal, accounting, consulting and financial services. His leadership of Intapp’s product vision helped scale the business from $50 million in revenue to over $200 million in less than five years, resulting in a successful IPO. During his tenure at Intapp, the company grew from 700 to 1,600 customers, delivered 10 new products, and implemented an AI/ML strategy for legal holds, conflicts clearance, contractual terms management, and engagement management.

Jose’s experience spans both startup and Fortune 100 organizations. He previously led product, development and go-to-market teams at Cisco Systems, Thismoment, Avid Technology, and Oracle, with a focus on building integration, process, and automation platforms, as well as supporting product ecosystems. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Supply Chain from Harvard Business School.

Andy Mallinger is an accomplished software product leader with over 20 years of experience in strategic software product management and marketing for enterprise and consumer markets. Andy joins Onna from Opentext where he was Vice President of Product, and he previously held senior Product roles at Carbonite, Webroot, Unigo Group and iovation. He has a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and his Bachelor’s degree was in Computer Science and Economics from Denison University.
